Cyberleek Drops 25 Minutes of New GTA 6 Footage Weeks Before Launch
Just six weeks before Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to hit store shelves, the leaker known as Cyberleek has re-emerged with the largest single leak yet. On October 8, an account on X (@4um44) posted approximately 25 minutes of unverified GTA 6 footage split across three separate uploads. Take-Two Interactive moved quickly, issuing content removal notices that have since pulled the clips from the platform, though the footage has continued circulating across mirror sites.
The leaked material reportedly spans several distinct gameplay scenarios. Observers have noted sequences set in Vice City during what appear to be racing and chase segments, a visit to the Thrillbilly Mud Club location seen briefly in official previews, vehicle modification screens, and a number of cutscenes. The footage also reportedly contains story spoilers and scenes of explicit nudity involving both protagonists — content Rockstar would presumably have wanted to control until the game itself released.
Take-Two has been pursuing legal action against the leaker for months, with court filings describing an "rapidly evolving" investigation that has narrowed to two suspects. The publisher previously subpoenaed Microsoft, Discord, and other platforms in its effort to identify Cyberleek. For their part, Cyberleek has previously framed the leaks as a protest against the games industry's shift toward digital-only distribution and aggressive monetization — though they have also simultaneously promoted cryptocurrency alongside the releases, complicating that framing.
The authenticity of today's footage has not been independently confirmed by Rockstar Games, and the publisher has not issued a public statement in response as of this writing. Given the proximity to launch, any new leak of this scale is worth treating with some caution — past Cyberleek releases have proven partially genuine, partially fabricated, or drawn from older builds. GTA 6 remains on track for November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
