Cyberleek Meme Coin Crashes 50% as Leaker Posts Escalating Spoiler Roadmap
The cryptocurrency extortion scheme built around GTA 6 leaks appears to be unraveling. The $CYBERLEEK meme coin shed 50% of its value in a single 24-hour period, dropping from over $4.75 million to approximately $2.2 million in market cap. That figure remains dramatically short of the $30 million threshold the leaker previously demanded in exchange for releasing what they claim is a complete, playable build of GTA 6—story mode included. With the November 19 launch now roughly five weeks away, the window for the ultimatum to succeed is rapidly closing.
Rather than accepting the failure of the scheme and going silent, Cyberleek doubled down by publishing what they are calling a spoiler roadmap—a tiered schedule of footage releases pegged to specific market cap milestones. According to the roadmap, reaching $5 million would unlock a mini tank sequence, $9 million would bring full tank gameplay, $13 million would yield a police shootout, and escalating targets up to $25 million would release footage of fighter jets and a train-versus-train collision. The alleged full 200GB+ playable build remains locked behind the original $30 million goal.
The development underscores the speculative and unstable nature of the scheme. Earlier in the campaign, Cyberleek withdrew approximately $250,000 worth of their own coin in August, immediately triggering a market collapse before the account resurfaced with renewed threats. Kotaku notes that fan interest in additional leaked footage has been waning as the release date approaches, with many players preferring to wait rather than risk further spoilers. None of Cyberleek's claims about possessing a full build have been officially verified or acknowledged by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive.
