Cyberleek's New GTA 6 Clip Enters a Game Store — and Doubles as a Digital Ownership Manifesto
Cyberleek posted yet another unauthorized Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay clip on August 25, this time sending protagonist Jason through the doors of an in-game electronics and video game store. The shop, named Game Horde, is depicted as a small strip-mall retailer stocked with PlayStation-style consoles, physical game cases, controllers, phone accessories, and audio gear. The level of detail in the store's layout and product variety drew immediate attention from fans parsing the footage frame by frame.
One standout easter egg spotted in the clip is a game on the shelves titled 'Cam Headz,' an apparent GTA universe nod to the real-world Manhunt franchise — a Rockstar property that has previously appeared as an in-game arcade cabinet in GTA Online. Whether such references will survive into the final release remains unknown, as all Cyberleek footage is sourced from an internal build whose age and completeness are unverified.
Cyberleek accompanied the clip with a statement that lent the footage an explicit ideological framing: 'This is not about actual discs. It is about ownership. Resale rights still matter — even in a digital-only era.' The comment lands with particular irony given that Rockstar has confirmed GTA 6 will launch as a digital-only title, with no physical edition planned at release — making the in-game Game Horde a kind of fictional throwback to a retail model the real-world games industry is steadily abandoning.
The clip is one of at least three pieces of footage Cyberleek released on August 25, with the total count of unauthorized clips now reaching thirteen or more across the past week. Rockstar parent company Take-Two Interactive has been pursuing legal action to unmask the leaker, filing subpoenas with Microsoft and Discord, but the clips continue to emerge at pace ahead of the officially announced 'Extended Look' presentation scheduled for August 27 on Netflix.
