GTA 6 Pre-Orders Now Live: $79.99 Standard, November 19 Release Date Official
Rockstar Games has officially opened pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI, confirming that the long-awaited title will launch on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5, PS5 Pro, and Xbox Series X and S. Pre-orders went live on June 25 at midnight local time across the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Games Store, and participating global retailers, ending months of speculation about when fans could secure their copy.
The game will be available in two editions. The Standard Edition is priced at $79.99, while the Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition comes in at $99.99 and bundles an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons, and apparel that are woven throughout the game's narrative. A dedicated Vehicle Mod Shop — exclusive to Ultimate Edition owners — adds further customization options from day one.
Rockstar confirmed that the November launch will be a purely single-player experience, describing it as 'the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.' The story follows protagonists Jason and Lucia across Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. All pre-orders placed before November 20 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, a collection of throwback items inspired by the city's neon-soaked past, with digital pre-orders also earning a free month of GTA+.
Digital pre-loading is set to begin November 12, giving players a week's head start before the November 19 launch. No PC release date has been announced. Early retailer data suggests pre-orders are running approximately six-to-one in favor of PlayStation 5 over Xbox Series X/S — a split that echoes the broader console install-base gap heading into the holiday season.
