Despite the turbulence of the past two weeks, Rockstar confirmed that Thursday’s Netflix premiere of Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look will proceed exactly as planned. The 30-minute showcase begins at 3 p.m. ET on August 27 exclusively for Netflix subscribers, before going live simultaneously on YouTube and the official Grand Theft Auto VI website at 9 p.m. ET the same evening. The developer signed off with a message that doubles as both promise and challenge: “We know we need to exceed your expectations.” The release date of November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S remains unchanged.
